Conflict check / NDA – target 2-24 hrs
A swift conflict check is run and NDA put in place if required.
Initial assessment – target 5 days
An initial assessment is conducted, following which our preliminary thoughts are shared. If we intend to pursue matters, we will clearly set out next steps and expected timelines.
Deep-dive assessment – target 2 weeks
The longest part of the process, involving due diligence queries and (ideally) a single call across all legal and commercial aspects of the case.
Indicative terms – target 2 days
Funding documentation - target 2 weeks
Our template documentation is publicly available, so documentation discussions can begin without delay and execution can occur promptly.
Case monitoring
We do not get involved in the running of the cases we fund but receive monthly updates and prompt notice of other material developments.
Conclusion
If a case loses, we lose our investment. If the case wins, our capital and returns are paid out of the recovered amounts.
